Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-05-21.

Sibyl LLC ("Sibyl," "we") operates a private analytics platform that ingests data from public sources to compute consensus probabilities for prediction-market contracts. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, how long we retain it, and how to request deletion.

Data we collect from third-party sources

Sibyl collects publicly available data from a number of third-party APIs and public web endpoints, including but not limited to: prediction-market exchanges (Kalshi, Polymarket), weather services (NOAA, OpenWeatherMap, the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, others), economic data providers (FRED, the World Bank), cryptocurrency market data (CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap), news aggregators (GDELT, public RSS feeds), and social platforms (Reddit). For each source, we collect only public metadata necessary to derive probability-relevant numeric signals. We do not collect private content, authenticated content, or personally identifiable information from these sources.

Reddit data (Responsible Builder Policy compliance)

Where Sibyl accesses Reddit, we read only public hot-post listings from a fixed set of public subreddits. For each post we collect: title, score, comment count, upvote ratio, creation timestamp, subreddit name, and permalink. We do not access user profiles, comment bodies, private content, modmail, direct messages, or any data behind authentication. We do not write to Reddit in any form — no posts, comments, votes, messages, mod actions, subscriptions, or edits.

In compliance with Reddit's Responsible Builder Policy, Reddit-derived content fields (post titles, permalinks, subreddit names) are deleted from our systems within 48 hours of collection. Only the numeric signal value derived from each post is retained for historical accuracy analysis; the underlying Reddit content is not.

Data we collect from visitors to this site

This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or any third-party trackers. We collect no personal data from visitors. Standard web server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested path, user agent) are retained for up to 30 days for security and operational purposes only.

How we use the data we collect

Public data from third-party sources is used exclusively to compute numeric signals that feed an internal consensus probability engine. We do not sell, share, or redistribute any third-party data. We do not publish, republish, or syndicate Reddit content or any other source's content.
